The bloodshed proceeds and the parallel remains, we’re not getting anywhere, but you’re still attacking my thoughts here and there. When the hellfire is complete, we will both agree that this battle will cease, we will retreat but contact is necessary

Bodies and furnaces, ashes and graves. No one’s alive. There’s no one to save. The conflict will progress, but fighting will be dismissed. Remaining soldiers will be tending to their families and our dictatorships will handle the battle delicately. When we’re face to face and brow to brow, we’ll both exclaim “this war stays cold for now.”1
